Electronic Carillons: Century V Carillon

The Verdin "Century V" Carillon is unique in the musical world of bells. This magnificent carillon instrument features the age-old sound of bells captured digitally. This instrument echoes the true sounds of real cast bells and takes them into the future as the most versatile electronic carillon on the market today.

The Century V custom bell instrument allows the artist to command the bells with one finger on a full range 61 note cast bell carillon. By adding additional bell and string voices to the cast bells, the Century V makes a presentation to a church or community as no other carillon has ever done.

By using the custom Verdin Century V console, a musician can play live bell concerts from both inside and outside the tower, or if needed, from an existing organ console. With the user-friendly, touch sensitive screen, the Century V can be programmed for recording, playback and fully automatic play at pre-scheduled times.

The Westminster Chime, the Whittington Chime, with several other bell peals, the funeral toll, and Angelus are included within the carillon. In addition, Celeste Bells, English Change Ring, and Harp Bells are only a few of the standard features of the Century V. The Bell/Voice types are the Harp Bells, Tubular Chimes, Sovereign Bells, Strings Voice, Celeste Bells, Bass Harp, Belcanto Bells, Cast Bells, Hand Bells, Grand Baroque, Presidential Bells, and Tenor Bells.

The Century V also features fiber optic output for storm protection, 900 MHZ wireless Remote, Memory for over 1000 songs, a touch screen and much more. The custom cabinetry designed to complement any location is an option, if desired.
